Review: Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara....

Hi Lovelies :) Hope you are all doing okay. Today im reviewing a well loved mascara thats in the blogging world and its the Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara - £11.00 (Black) I have been wanting this mascara for a long time and im so happy with the results.

First of all the packaging is so pretty. A gorgeous silver with a swirly pattern which i think is really unique. The mascara wand is so tiny but yet it gets every single lash perfectly which really opens up my eyes more. Its super long wearing and leaves you with no panda eyes or smudges yayyy!!

I have now been left questioning myself why didnt i get this mascara sooner?? the price is very reasonable and its well worth to have in your collection.

I could go on and on about how good of a mascara it is but you can have a look at the difference below:
 (Before no mascara)

Top lash: Gosh Bombastic Mascara
Bottom Lash: Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara

Pretty good? dont you think :)

Would you buy this bottom lash mascara?

Beauty Haul....

Hi Lovelies :) Hope you are all doing okay!! Today i bring you a beauty haul that just happened in the space of not a long time. You know when you get carried away shopping and trying to justify each item as a MUST?? well that was me.

The two clarins products are smaller sized which as i spoke to a clarins assistant i explained that ive been wanting to try out some skincare bits and she offered me this two to try. First up is the Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel. This is one that ive seen quite hyped up around the blogging world for some time and ive always wanted to try a gel cleanser. Ive been using it for a couple of weeks and so far i really like it so a little review may be coming up. Also given was the Clarins Gentle Refiner which is a exfoliator with tiny microbeads that are gentle on the skin. Yet to try this one out but im looking forward to it!!

The two Origins products are my favourite purchases. I have already done a review on the smaller sized Origins drink up mask and i purchased the full size as ive been loving it that much. At first i thought i didnt need this product in my routine but i was so sadly mistaken. It just gives all the needed hydration into your skin and i think £20.00 is a bit much but i think it will last a good while. The Origins Clear Improvement mask again was one ive been wanting to try out and its targeted at congested and clogged pores. Ive used this a few times and its another item that is slowly introduced into my skincare routine.

The Good Things Five Minute Facial Mask was just one that i wanted to try out. The smell is amazing and so fruity :) It is also free from all the nasty things which i really like about it. Yet to try it out so i will keep you posted if i enjoy it.

The Sanctuary Body Scrub is one that ive repurchased in the travel size again as i use it for when im travelling and its a good body scrub that isnt overly scented and leaves your skin so smooth and soft. Added with exfoliating gloves and its the perfect combo!!

The two eyeliners black and white are the Rimmel Kohl Eye Pencils for the waterline. Ive been using these both for years and they last me awhile. I love wearing the black for more definition and dramatic look and the white eyeliner for brightening my eyes.

The Collection 2000 Fake Up Mascara was on offer when i brought it so i thought why not il try it out. As of yet i havent tried it out but the wand looks amazing and exactly what i like. I just hope it isnt too clumpy.

And finally i brought the Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara. Oh my days!! I have already been using this and why have i not brought it before?!! A review soon on it :)

And that is all that i brought. Hope you liked this mini overview of the things i have brought.

Have you brought anything lately? Any recommendations? :)

High end buy: Lancome Hypnose Mascara....

Hi lovelies hope you are all doing okay :) sorry for the lack of posts recently i feel as though i havent blogged much with having so much on with uni lately. Roll on the summer!! Anyways ive been saving this review on this beauty for a few weeks as i really wanted to test it out and see what sets it apart if it does from the high street mascara. If any of you are my regular readers then you would know by know im a mascaraholic and to my lovely new readers i have a whole collection of mascaras way too many. I brought this little beauty as i fancied treating myself.

Lancome is a brand ive always wanted to try but never ventured to it. Id love to try out the skincare and other bits they have :) This mascara is called HYPNOSE and its priced at £22. Yes its abit of a hefty price tag for a mascara. But is it worth it?

The packaging is a pretty silver and just gleams of luxury from my perspective. Its a lovely sized mascara with the company labelled in gold. The black and gold colour of the mascara really work again to give a very expensive feel.

The wand is a good size with small fine bristles that really work to get inbetween every single lash. What i really like about this mascara is that it gives a very natural lash look. Just the right volume and length for an everyday look. Even adding an extra coat can give it a more dramatic feel but its not too over the top. I found the mascara totally smudge proof and didnt budge throughout the day whatsoever which sometimes i find a few mascaras to leave abit of a panda look throughout the day.

Now is it worth the price tag?... if you are after a luxury feel and a good quality mascara and application that will last you long enough then i would highly recommend.

What sets it apart from the high street is the obvious packaging of the mascara and the high quality application. No smudge and a good wand applicator thats simple yet effective on the lashes.

(Lashes both with mascara)

Have you tried lancome products before? what would you recommend? :)

Review: Maybelline The Falsies Black Drama Mascara

As you may or may not know i am a complete mascaraholic at the moment. Im really loving experimenting with different types and formulas straying me from my beloved loreal telsescopic. When it comes to mascaras i always want two things from a product thickness and volume. So when i saw this new maybelline mascara i had to try it out.

First off the packaging is gorgeous. I love the purple colour but also the cute detailing of a lace pattern going on which i think just looks really pretty and different. I brought this mascara from Boots for £7.99.

This mascara is a new formula with extra long fibres and black pigments creating a false lash effect which looks longer and thicker. The brush is a spoon like shape which fans out lashes and makes sure that generous amount of product deposits and helps build volume without clumping.

My opinion on this mascara is that the spoon brush is abit unusual but its manageable. If you are wanting to build up the blackness or the volume make sure you dont wait for each coat to dry. Apart from this i really do think it gives a good enough volume and length that i like in a mascara. I like the way my lashes look with this mascara and its one that i will continue to use :)

What Maybelline mascaras so you like? would you try this one? :)

My Affordable Favourites - Eye Products Under £10....

Being a student im always on the hunt for a good bargain as i dont have endless amounts of money. Lately ive found that drugstore products can be perceived as cheap and doesnt have the quality that high end brands do. So i thought id research into this abit more to see about other opinions. I first went to my Debenhams beauty area and asked a few sales assistant if their customers prefer high end or drugstore. I got a mixture of responses and here are a few:

"Drugstore products dont do the job that high end brands do. Im after quality and something i know is going to work".
"Drugstore products are really good money for value. With the recession more and more people dont have the money to splutter around on high end items so having a good price is key for what i look for".
" I like knowing that i pay alot for good quality and know that paying more i will get what i want in a product".
"I dont think cheap brands do me justice and they never work".

These are just a few comments the assistants shared with me. I do really believe that you can get value for your money and ive tried so many drugstore products and sometimes have been better then high end. Here are my favourite eye products :)

Barry M Bold Waterproof Mascara - Boots £6.19

This mascara is very long lasting and stays on all day. Ive worn this when its been snowing and raining and as it says its waterproof it didnt budge all day and didnt leave me with black bits under my eye. The brush is fine and dense and it really defines your lashes. This is my first try at a Barry M mascara and its one of my favourites.

NYC big bold mascara extra black - Superdrug £3.99

First of all the packaging looks quite similar to Rimmels Scandaleyes mascara but at a fraction of the price. It has a chunky fibre brush and it really does give you thickness and volume to your lashes. This is AMAZING. My lashes appeared really black and thick with so much volume. I love having big lashes so for me this is the perfect mascara and im so so glad ive found it. This little beauty is one that i would HIGHLY recommend and will keep on recommending for all of you who are looking for thick volume lashes for not very much money at all.  -Big lashes for a small price :)

*Gosh boombastic mascara - Superdrug £8.49

This is the first time ive ever experience anything from the brand Gosh so i was looking forward to trying this out. If you are after extreme volume and length then this is perfect for you. Its great at seperating each lash and you can really build up the volume depending on how much you want. The brush is made up of different plastic bristles which enable you to get right into the inner and outer lashes.

MUA mega volume mascara - Superdrug £3.00

Being a good value for money brand i was really excited to try this mascara out. The wand is plastic and really gets in every single lash to give volume. I liked that this wasnt too much volume and can be more buildable with a second coat. I loved how my lashes felt after one application the difference was amazing. All in all for the price of this mascara i think just looking at the picture of my lashes will tell you why its one of my favourites.

George Asda velvet eye palette - £2.00

I got this in the colours rain forest and the colours are so pretty. Not normally what i would go for but the quality of them are so good. Not the most pigmented colours but they a palette that i really enjoy using and mixing the colours. Bargain for the price and i would like to try out more from the range.

NYC HD quattro eye shadow best of broadway - Superdrug - £2.99

This little beauty is amazing the colours are so pigmented and just are the perfect shades for a smokey eye or a natural look. Its so handy to carry this around on the go instead of a big palette. The colours really stay on for a long time without a eye primer and are just really pretty. Again for the price the quality is so good and would really recommend this palette.

MUA professional eyes primer - Superdrug £2.50

It creates a lovely base for long staying eye shadow. If im wanting my eyeshadow to stay in all day then i have to use this product. Its true to its word and really does help make your eye colours stay on. Pick up this bargain :)

* Eye Candy dramatise strip lashes 017 - Boots £4.49

These eyelashes create a lovely intense look with volumised lashes. They come complete with a storage tray and adhesive. I really loved these lashes and my eyes looked really glamourous. If any of you lovelies go out alot then i would recommend these. They are so easy to use and arent fiddly at all.

Phew...... this is a long post my longest ever!! Next weekend i will be posting my affordable favourite lip products under £10.

Will you trying out of any of these eye products? Let me know below :)

Very mini boots haul!! and i mean mini....

Lately ive been feeling ever so stressed with uni and i thought i would have a mini splurge in boots today. Of course i went straight to the makeup section first to see what caught my eye :)

The first thing that i was really intrigued about and thought what a bargain was the Collection Cover & Go Foundation and Concealer Duo in Light which is (new) - Boots - was £5.99 now £3.99. I have stuck with my trusty Mac foundation for awhile but my budget as of late is really tight so im trying not spend and save up abit for higher price items that i want. This year part of my resolution is to experiment and try more makeup products instead of sticking with the same brands. So when i came across this at first i thought this is such a bargain a foundation and a concealer in one BONUS!!

(Having a bad hair day so i had to chop my hair off but god i look awful!! ) I wanted just to show you before and after with the foundation and concealer

(This after pic my bags are still really visible but im sure if i applied abit more coverage it would look as bad :)

When you open the lid that is where the concealer is with a little tiny mirror which is really cute. The concealer is of good coverage and its not too thick the consistency is just how i like it. When you unscrew the concealer off the top of the tube is the squirty bit for the foundation.

Now the foundation is medium coverage but definitely buildable. It feels really light and a silky like texture giving you a flawless glow. I love how it feels really light and not too thick and heavy so a thumbs up from me :) For me personally i think this is a lovely foundation if you just want abit of colour but with alot of coverage. Does the job and im so glad i picked it up!!

 (Before no makeup)
 (Close of before no mascara)

(With the seventeen doll'd up mascara)
The next item that i picked up was the new Seventeen doll'd up 24hr curl mascara in black. It has a plastic wand and it says that it gives you doll like lashes. Personally for me i dont like plastic wands too much but this mascara totally does me justice. I got this for £6.29 and came with a free doll'd up eyeliner. Now with the wand being quite tricky i didnt expect my lashes to be good at all even with curling them. But to my surprise i love this mascara. My lashes look really long and with volume :)so yes i really do love this mascara and would recommend trying it out.

The last items is the Seventeen Doll'd 3 way liquid eyeliner. Now i was really curious when i opened the top it to find it had 3 bristles. In boots it actually said to youtube to find out the 3 ways to use it so i did. You can watch the three videos here:

I really liked how you could sweap the eyeliner across your eye to give a fuller dramatic line on the eye which is what i did but i will also be trying out these 3 videos. Its quite an unusual eyeliner to have 3 sort of bristles but its one you could have alot of fun with!!

Have you tried any new products out that made you curious but worth it when you tried them out?
