Primark Haul |

So Primark has won again with my bank balance and ive ended up having a cheeky splurge which was a few weeks ago so bare with me in it being slightly late being posted im sure alot of things will still be in stores. Looking at all the things i have brought i sense abit of an animal theme going on. So if you are an animal lover or into cute items then this is the post for you!!

In my other primark haul i shared with you a quilted tshirt and i picked up another one in a gorgeous rich red colour. The quality is amazing and its a thickish tshirt so will be good for layering. I love the small chain detail on the pocked and its a bargain at £6.00.

Because of the weather getting much colder and instead of getting an ordinary jumper i saw this sequin jumper in the corner of my eye and it had to be mine. Its not an overly thick jumper but i got it in a bigger size so i can wear it oversized and baggy. I love the gold sequins as it looks really autumnal aswell. This was £14.00 which i think for what it is slightly pricey but i think it will be a good staple i will wear alot in the colder coming months.

Now lets just pause a minute - this jumper may be looked at as a barbie fantatics dream or tacky but i actually really like it. Its so soft and its exactly the same fluffy design like the cardigans that have been shown on alot of blogs. This is something i will be lounging around in and its perfect!! - £10.00

I have been after another jumper in a colour that i wouldnt normally wear alot of and this subtle mint green colour is ideal. The jumper is lovely and thick with a slashed neck collar. Its another jumper that i will wear oversized and its so cosey. - £8.00

Where so i start with this animal themed goodies?!!

The gold roped necklace is lovely to wear with plain tshirts and i love wearing statement jewellery to make a boring outfit interesting. - £4.00

The dog and panda mittens are adorable so cute. I can tell that these wont last long and im only wearing them before the really colder months hit us but at £2.00 they do keep my hands warm.

I noticed the polka dot travel card holder just randomly thrown in a pile and thought it would be really handy to keep my student id and any train tickets or bus ones etc. Its a waterproof material too so it really protects the cards.- £1.00

The little cute guy you can see as in the penguin is a hand warmer. Ive never seen one of these before and its so handy. Inside the cover is a gel like substance where you boil it in a pan of hot water for 5 mins and then pop it back inside the cover. Its lovely and toasty warm on your hands. For £1.00 its too cute not to have.

Carrying on my footlet collection i needed to have the dalmation ones in my life. They are just like slippers except a thiner material and not as chunky but none the less they keep your toes warm. I used to love 101 dalmations so much when i was little. Its a nice reminder of my childhood. £3.00

I have been after a thermal mug for a little while as i love soup especially in these colder months and they are great to travel with aswell. Again i love dogs and this is too cute not to have for £2.50. Its actually really sturdy and doesnt spill at all its passed the test run for me.

If you didnt know already i am pug crazy and i really want one so badly. I remember seeing the duvet set awhile back on a few instagrams but could never find it in my store so as soon as i saw it it had to be mine. I love the print its adorable and im after another duvet set for christmas time they have some lovely designs at the moment. £9.00

The owl figure you can see is actually a vanilla scented candle and its super cute. Its been decorated beautifully and it reminds me of all these dark nights. I dont know sets the cosey mood i guess. £2.50

Again i had to buy some more footlets like the dalmation ones above the koala bear ones are adorable. £3.50

The two packs of flannels you can see are for when i take my cleanser/masks off etc they are so soft and really help to get rid of everything so easily. £2.50 & £1.50

Last are some cosy socks and super cosy tights. I love stocking up on both of these for winter time. The tight have a lovely fleecy lining in them which are great for when you are wearing dresses keep them legs warm!!

Boots & Superdrug Haul |

I thought i would share with you all my recent purchases from Superdrug and Boots. I didnt seem to find alot of things as i was in a complete rush. Hoping my next trip i can spend a good hour so in there which can easily be done.

First of all in Superdrug i only picked up one item which is a repurchase - the Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser. I have spoke about this before in a post and i absolutely adore it. Sometimes shop own brands can be misleading in my eyes i never think they are going to be great due to the fact they are so cheap to buy but my opinion has quickly changed with this cleanser. Its a rich cleanser but at the same time lightweight so its not something that is like a balm but it still feels like you are getting a high dose of moisture. I think this is a good product to have on rotation so maybe one day your face may be feeling abit dry and pop this on and you are good to go. Its so affordable and the results are noticed after first use.

Next part is Boots - I picked up some more cotton pads which i like to get the baby extra large ones as one cotton pad is all you need to get rid of everything. You also get 75 in the pack which lasts a good couple of months with me. I decided to try a new deodrant as im getting bored with the same one i use. I chose the Mitchum Advanced Control Unscented. This is amazing and i actually like the no fragrance too it as sometimes i find that the scents can be too strong.

The last things i picked up was two things from Dove - the Nutrive Solutions Nourishing Oil Care Shampoo and Intensive Repair Mask. After using the Dove Leave in Conditioner which now is one of my favourite products to use i thought i would dabble more into the brand. Both of these were on offer at the time which i cant resist a bargain. They both offer hydrating to the hair and helping to get it back into good condition. Looking forward to trying both of these out.

Small Primark Haul |

I havent been Primark shopping in awhile and ive seen so many lovely things. They are definately giving the likes of Topshop and New Look a run for the money as majority of the items are bang on trend and so much more cheaper. Im abit of a mix and match i like to have a few higher end purchases aswell as cheaper ones too. Its always good to find a bargain!!

I have been really getting in to wearing plain tops and then jazzing them up abit with some chunky jewellery. This is just a plain black tshirt with mesh sleeves. The top isnt sheer either and is abit different then your average tshirt. £4.00

I am a big fan of skater dresses as i think that they are really flattering on myself and it suits my shape aswell. If you could guess by my blog design i am a big lover of leopard print and this may look abit trashy to some but im going dress it down with a black blazer, tights and boots which i think will be perfect for autumn. This was one of the £5 wow dresses.

Quilted clothing seems to be big in the shops at the moment and i actually saw a quilted jumper in topshop i really wanted but everytime i went in they never had my size online or in store so when i spotted this one i just had to buy it. Its got grey quilted sleeves then a white panel. Its a lovely material that is very warm so will be ideal to layer in winter too. £8.00

Again carrying on with the quilted theme. This black quilted tshirt is lovely. I love that its completely plain with a jewelled edging by the pocked which adds abit of something to the design. Its not sheer at all and is quite thick material. Im after the white one next time. £6.00

I spotted this lovely marl jumper on the sale rack and for £3.00 you cant grumble. Its a lovely slouchy jumper that is ideal for autumn so would keep you nice and warm layered up.

Lastly i brought this snood scarf for £3.00 i love the colour and the printed bows im abit addicted to scarves as they are so versatile. The necklace is so pretty for £3.00 and im going be teaming this again with plain tops.

Primark, Boots & Lush Haul |

So it was my birthday on thursday this week and i turned 22!! I had a lovely day shopping and just relaxing. I did have a good shopping spree but i thought i would share with you some of the things i picked up.

I went into Primark and straight away i got carried away with all the cute loungewear/sleepwear and just HAD to buy some of them. I did restrain myself and probably will go in again for some more. They have so many cute prints/designs!! I brought the monsters inc (£7.00) and french bull dog legging sleepwear (£5.00) which are SO cute. I didnt want the tops with them as i have so many. But they are very cosey and i think i will get alot of use out of them too.

I then went on over to the socks/slipper section and straight away noticed they had pug footlets (£3.00) eeekk!! I am a big pug lover lately and i need everything pug related. Ive never had any of the footlets before but they are so comfy and warm. Perfect for keeping my feet warm. I also chose some leopard print ones too which were £1.50.

I was after a small makeup bag to carry around with me in september as besides makeup i pop in other essentials like hand gel, deodrant etc this was £3.00 and i adore it. Its a lovely size and will be able to fit everything i need on a daily basis.

Next part of the haul is boots......

I always always get sucked in with boots, any offers and im straight there, any new releases im there....

Bit of a boring product but i am loving the berocca vitamin drinks. Ive noticed that it really perks me up when im feeling slugish and has made me feel so much better. Not only myself but also my skin just seems alot more nicer too.

I then repurchases the collection lasting concealer (£4.19) i just love this product for covering imperfections such good coverage too. I also noticed that collection had some gel nail shades so i picked one up in Hot Red. I really want to see if its as good as other brands and this was £2.50 on offer.

Yesterday i was having my roots done (finally) so i thought i would get a couple of new hair products to try out. The Tresemme Platinum Strength Shot (£1.49) looked really interesting and just what ive been after to give my hair some added strength. Also along them same lines i was after a leave in conditioner and the Dove nourish leave in conditioner oil (£3.59) seemed a good option. Ive heard fab things about both of these products so looking forward to test them out.

Lastly, i never hear much about Sanctuary Spa products on blogs to be honest and ive loved some of there products from awhile ago and i really want to reconnect with the love of them and try some new things out. I thought the Salt Scub (£1.75) would be a lovely deep exfoliation to test out as my skin is crazy dry and horrible. Also another brand i dont hear much about is Champneys Spa products and in fact ive never tried anything from them before so i thought i would try the mini version of one of the body butters (£2.50)

The only thing from Lush that i repurchased and will continue to is the Lush Tea Tree Water ive done a whole post on this product and i LOVE LOVE LOVE. Just so good if your skin is having a bad skin day and at £3.95 for a small bottle is so affordable to try and test it too.  Also as a free sample i got given the Ocean Salt Cleanser.

So that is it for my small haul. Alot of reviews will be coming up on the blog with these products and im really looking forward to trying some new products out too!!

Recent Buys |

I like to treat myself once in awhile to new beauty and skincare bits from the drugstores this usual happens every month sometimes il buy alot and other times just a few little bits. Boots and Superdrug are the two shops i can spend awhile in and il be happy browsing all the aisles and popping things into my basket. Once ive completed my shop il be happy for a long time and im a easily pleased person :)

Onto the shopping......

Ive heard alot about the Serozinc from the amazing Caroline Hirons and of course other skincare fanatics. Its a lovely refreshing toner that has a light spritz to it and helps with oily skin and even other skin irritations. Unfortunately our local drugstores dont have this ready available so i browsed online and found ebay was stocking this. I have been using this for a good couple of weeks packing this onto my skin as a double toner and its also great for this heatwave we have in the uk at the moment!!

The Vitamin E range from Superdrug is something i have browsed at many a times but never plunged to by anything. Ive read a few reviews on the Hot Cloth Cleanser that they do in this range and at the time i was shopping my skin was dry and patchy in places so i thought this would help solve my skin a little. The smell reminds me of holidays so already it won me over without even trying the product. Its a lovely rich creamy cleanser that leaves your skin feeling so soft. Ive been really surprised at how good this product has changed my dry skin in the matter of days. Fab price for how much you get of the product and im sure it will last awhile too. Again with this heat ive found my skin has been drying out alot so this is just the best product to have handy to fix my skin.

The Garnier Intensive Hand Cream was on offer in Superdrug at the time and my hands were horrible and dry. None of my other hand creams seemed to be actually moisturising my hands at all and this cream just really won me over. Its a rich cream but not overly rich and leaves my hands feeling in better condition. After one use my hands were back on track. Its ideal to have on the go in your daily bag as its so small aswell.

The Maybelline polish in 'Mint For Life' is one of my fave colours at the moment. The brush is amazingly thick to coat the nails so easily and the formula is so strong. Teamed with a top coat it stays on for a good few days without chipping. I have been wearing this on my toes and it looks beautiful with a tan :)

The Bourjois 1 Second Polish in 'Melon' is AHHHHMAAAAZZZZIINNNGGG. I had this on my nails for my sisters graduation and it looks just like you have gel nails and super glossy too. This colour is so summery and my nails look so pretty. Full review coming soon!!

Elf Haul |

Hi Lovelies, today is another small haul from the brand Elf. When i saw the sales on their website i just had to have a cheeky splurge. Ive never brought a huge amount from Elf and i think that its a brand that i never hear alot about. Anyway the items i brought....

(Swatch - Natural Nymph Mineral Lipstick) £2.50

First item i brought was the Mineral Lipstick in the sade 'Natural Nymph' which is a gorgeous nude shade. I love the colour pay off and i think it suits me abit more when i have abit of colour to my face. I think its such a good shade to have as if you are going for a more dramatic look on the eyes you can just apply this to the lips for a more natural lip colour. Its quite hydrating which i really like and i love that it doesnt have any parabens or nasties too!!

(Swatch: Butter Pecan ) £1.00

This gorgeous eyeshadow duo shadow cream just had to be mine. I dont tendto wear alot of cream eyeshadows but ive started to really get into them and i find i tend to like them more on a night out.  I brought the shade 'Butter Pecan' which the lighter shade is a more nude shade and the darker shade is a bronze shade. I really like that its long wearing and no creases as i tend to find alot of cream shadows crease easily but this one doesnt at all!!

(Swatch left to right: wheat, mocha) £0.45 each!!

These two eyeshadows are my favourite from this purchase. First of all in the sale they were 45p each!! secondly the pigmentation is so good!! I actually didnt realise when i brought them that they need to be potted for a palette so that is my next thing to do!! Wheat is a pretty gold shade with a slight shimmer and Mocha is a deep bronze with slight shimmer. Both have high pigmentation formula which is easy to see from the swatches. Im looking forward to creating a pretty bronzed smokey eye.

(Swatch: Brightening eyeliner - coffee) £1.00

Last of all is this brightening eyeliner in the shade 'coffee'. I have never owned a brown shade of eyeliner ever i have always been so trusty with a good old black eyeliner. I thought this would really compliment the eyes with the two eyeshadows shown above and would be more natural on the waterline. Its a lovely rich brown that will warm the eyes up too!!

Have you shopped on elf lately? any bargains?

MUA Haul |

Hi Lovelies, todays post is a haul from MUA (Make up Academy) which is a well known brand amongst the blogging world with its affordable prices and the latest beauty products. I have to admit i have only brought a couple of items from this brand like a mascara and a lipgloss both i really enjoy using on a regular basis.

(Left to right on nail wheel: Ameretto Crush, Pistachio ice cream, All nude, Lush Lilac)

The first things that caught my eye were these pretty pastel nail varnishes for a bargain of £1!! yes £1!! Amaretto crush is a beautiful salmon red colour. Pistachio ice cream is a pretty mint green colour, All nude is a classic pale white colour. Lush Lilac is a beautiful pale lilac colour. On the nail wheel this is with one coat applied and i think with two coats plus a top coat they will look stunning colours. I love all four of these colours and will no doubt be wearing them non stop.

Next was this lipstick that was also a £1 and i brought the shade 'Bare' its a light nude and the pigmentation is amazing on the lips and ive only had to touch up twice in a  day with it which for a mere £1 that is not bad quality at all. On the lips its quite matte which i really like in a lipstick. Another winner in my eyes!!

Again this eyeshadow was £1!! getting all the bargains. I brought the shade 1 - Pearl which is a gorgeous gold slightly shimmery colour, i have been using this as a eyeshadow and a brow highlighter too. Its a versatile shade that can be used for many looks.

(Left to right: Candyfloss, Marshmallow)

These blushers were also £1 each and are part of the new spring blush collection. Candyfloss is a more rose gold shimmery shade i would say and is amazingly pigmented a little goes along way!! Marshmallow which is quickly becoming one of my favourite blushers is a pretty light pink shade and gives a lovely healthy bit of colour to the apples your cheeks.

(Swatches left to right: Marshmallow, Candyfloss, (blushers) Pearl eyeshadow and bare lipstick)
I also brought this blusher f6 brush which was £3. Its shaped to easily glide along your cheekbones to give you a flawless colour to your cheeks. The brush is so easy to use and with synthetic bristles. I love how easy it is to contour and to apply blush!!

Any items from my haul you want to go out and try?

Beauty Haul....

Hi Lovelies :) Hope you are all doing okay!! Today i bring you a beauty haul that just happened in the space of not a long time. You know when you get carried away shopping and trying to justify each item as a MUST?? well that was me.

The two clarins products are smaller sized which as i spoke to a clarins assistant i explained that ive been wanting to try out some skincare bits and she offered me this two to try. First up is the Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel. This is one that ive seen quite hyped up around the blogging world for some time and ive always wanted to try a gel cleanser. Ive been using it for a couple of weeks and so far i really like it so a little review may be coming up. Also given was the Clarins Gentle Refiner which is a exfoliator with tiny microbeads that are gentle on the skin. Yet to try this one out but im looking forward to it!!

The two Origins products are my favourite purchases. I have already done a review on the smaller sized Origins drink up mask and i purchased the full size as ive been loving it that much. At first i thought i didnt need this product in my routine but i was so sadly mistaken. It just gives all the needed hydration into your skin and i think £20.00 is a bit much but i think it will last a good while. The Origins Clear Improvement mask again was one ive been wanting to try out and its targeted at congested and clogged pores. Ive used this a few times and its another item that is slowly introduced into my skincare routine.

The Good Things Five Minute Facial Mask was just one that i wanted to try out. The smell is amazing and so fruity :) It is also free from all the nasty things which i really like about it. Yet to try it out so i will keep you posted if i enjoy it.

The Sanctuary Body Scrub is one that ive repurchased in the travel size again as i use it for when im travelling and its a good body scrub that isnt overly scented and leaves your skin so smooth and soft. Added with exfoliating gloves and its the perfect combo!!

The two eyeliners black and white are the Rimmel Kohl Eye Pencils for the waterline. Ive been using these both for years and they last me awhile. I love wearing the black for more definition and dramatic look and the white eyeliner for brightening my eyes.

The Collection 2000 Fake Up Mascara was on offer when i brought it so i thought why not il try it out. As of yet i havent tried it out but the wand looks amazing and exactly what i like. I just hope it isnt too clumpy.

And finally i brought the Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara. Oh my days!! I have already been using this and why have i not brought it before?!! A review soon on it :)

And that is all that i brought. Hope you liked this mini overview of the things i have brought.

Have you brought anything lately? Any recommendations? :)

American Haul....

Hi Lovelies :) Hope you are all doing okay!! This post is one that ive been quite excited about. Even though its a small haul its all from AMERICA!!! i came across the site 'Cosmetics and Candy' from twitter where they a range of beauty, sweets and drinks from America that can be shipped to the UK. I have only opted for a small section of goodies. I love watching american youtubers they have some really interesting products :)
Of course the first thing i was eager to try out was the chocolate chip pop tarts i am a massive chocolate lover and i know here in the UK we have pop tarts but only the simple flavours. I had one of them  yesterday and heated it on a low setting in the microwave and it tastes AMAZING :) if any of you are a lover of Dominos Pizza Cookies then its basically like that with the 'gooey' middle but stretches out and with a slight pastry taste. So good :) I would love to try out more of the flavours!! mmmmmm yumm!!

The Kool Aid Pink Lemonade was just a random purchase. Ive always wanted to know what pink lemonade tasted like and its quite sweet with a sherbet tang to it . Not sure if im a fan but im glad ive now ticked pink lemonade off my list.

(Swatch 'Blush Twist')

Having heard from beauty youtubers about the Covergirl Lip Perfection Jumbo Lip Twists i was really wanting to try one of them out. Roughly i would say they are the same price as the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains. The shade i opted for was the Blush Twist a beautiful Pink colour that is perfect for Spring. The colour is lovely and pigmented and the balm is so moisturising with added Shea Butter and Mango. A little bit definately goes a long way but it stays on for a good 6 hours or so i would say.

The Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush is my 'go to' blush at the moment. Mine is in the shade Rose Petal and it gives the most natural looking flush of colour. It has a lovely bouncy texture that is really lightweight. I used this with the Real Techniques Stippling Blush and it applied like a dream!! I will be using this soon and a in more depth review!!

The Maybelline Baby Lips is again another product i was really wanting to try. Lip balms are forever scattered around my bedroom and in my bags. They always seem to disappear so another one needed to be mine :) I thought the peppermint one would be perfect. It doesnt have an overpowering mint smell and the moisture it gives to your lips is amazing. I love that it has an added Spf 20. Will be handy to use on holidays too.

So that is all for my small American haul. I hope you enjoyed reading. I may try out Australia next? :)

What American products would you like to try out?
