Review: Klorane Peony Shampoo For Irritated Scalps |

The last few months my hair has been having abit of a weird phase where sometimes it can get dry and feels really sore. Ive stopped using heat styling tools for awhile too as it was just making it feel worse. To add to this now and again i appear to have dry patches too. After using the Oilatum Shampoo which i still use i found that i could only use it once/twice a week as a thorough treatment as directed so i needed something else for the other days to clean my hair whilst still being gentle. 

I was reading through Nouvelle Daily which i love reading and saw one of the posts for scalp sos. I decided to order the shampoo and give it a try. 

The Klorane Shampoo works to gently cleanse the hair with extracts of peony which is naturally soothing for the scalp and provides much needed relief from itching/burning too. Its adapted to suit the most sensitive scalps which helps to balance and regulate. From first use and continued use my scalp is less itchy and sore which has eased dramatically which is a better result then other shampoos i have used which felt like they left a residue which this one doesnt. It leaves my hair manageable, shiny and soft too.

I really like how gentle and silky like it feels in my hair afterwards and im so happy that i have found something that soothes my scalp. So happy with the results and recommend this to anyone who has sensitive/itchiness or dryness. Its not very often that i rave about shampoo but something like this that has helped solve my scalp issues is worth it!!

Review: Tresemme Platinum 60 Second Treatment Shot & Dove Hair Nourishing Oil Leave In Spray |

I am not loyal to just one haircare brand when it comes to looking after my hair and im always on the lookout for products to improve my hair. I have a confession..... only in the past year or so have i started to use hair masks and oils. As before i used to just use shampoo and conditioner occasionally and that was it. Thinking back now my hair was really bad and so dry from all the overheating of using heated tools. 

I have seen a drastic difference in my hair and also from using these new products too. The first is the Tresemme Platinum Strength 60 Second Shot - At £1.49 for a 15ml tube that you could two uses out of is brilliant. The texture is quite thick and creamy. I applied this treatment after shampooing my hair as i didnt apply a conditioner because i knew that this would be more of a deeper thorough treatment. After i left my hair to dry out naturally which is quite often lately my hair felt amazing. So silky soft and full of bounce and life. My recently coloured hair was gleaming and looked so glossy. This product does contain ingredients that help to restore your hair and helping to protect against future damage. It doesnt way your hair down either and is a quick fix to help restore your hair back.

The Dove Hair Nourishing Oil Leave in Spray is one of the brands i have never tried before and was really intrigued to see the results. This formula works to smooth and seal the hair with ingredients such as argan oil, almond and cocunut but also to restore moisture. Its a lightweight spray with a gorgeous holiday like smell to it. I have applied it with wet and dry hair, both times my hair felt so soft and left with no frizz whatsoever. Doesnt leave my hair with a greasy residue nor does it weight my hair down. I love the way it makes my hair feel as though its packed full of more moisture and the softness it creates to my hair. Im so glad that i brought this product as i think in months to come it will really help my hair in getting stronger too.  

Review: Area H20 Medium Water Shampoo & Conditioner For Coloured Hair |

For me haircare is one of those things that is trial and error. Finding the right products that dont weigh down my hair, gives my hair good moisture and also moisture. When i won a haircare set on twitter i was very excited to be trying something completely different. 

Area H20 is a brand that formulates shampoo and conditioner against the water type in your area. Water varies in the country and where you live and these three main water areas are soft, medium and hard. The main difference between these water areas is the mineral properties and from these is how it can affect your hair. For example if you used your regular hair mask but wash it at your friends house instead of your own it could take longer to wash out or not have the same affect then washing it at your own house. All types of water have metal ions in them and these react with our haircare products in the shower to form mineral deposits that can cling onto the hair. The science behind the brand is to combat the water effects in the different water areas.

The brand makes shampoo and conditioners for all the named water types, soft, water and hard and within these ranges also for normal/fine hair and coloured. I think that this is a great idea especially for people who are travelling to different water areas on a regular basis.Using the two products you have to be quite sparingly as they are very concentrated. I found that the shampoo creates a good enough lather and really cleans my hair throughly. It didnt overly dry my hair neither and it created a lovely shine too.

Ive found that using both of these products that my hair was slightly more softer and i would recommend them to anyone who is always on the travel. You can buy them at look fantastic

Just lately my hair has been really dry on my scalp and somewhat irritated too. I have been using my beloved Redken range for so long and even that is just making my scalp even more sore. So i have been using Oilatum Shampoo twice a week which has been really soothing and gentle but i was still left with dry patches on my scalp. I then blow dried my hair and again my hair was shiny and soft but also my scalp and dryness was no where to be seen. This was my impression after the first use WOW.
