Time after time i read magazines, see on tv and on the internet celebrities with these amazing figures and just looking damn beautiful. Images from magazines always annoy me espcially when you can tell they have been airbrushed. We never see natural women that are beautiful inside and out. Why is that? Our society now has completely changed into a body image obsessed world. Not saying that everybody is body conscious but im reading more and more about teenagers who are starting modelling from a very young age and on a strict diet when they should be out in the fresh air enjoying having fun.
Apparently one of the top things that women are down about on a regular basis is their appearance whether thats hair, body, skin. I completely agree with it i find it so hard some days to get up in a morning and think yes i love everything about myself today. I dont think for me personally thats ever going to happen as im very critical and hard on myself.
But this way of thinking is WRONG!! we should start moving our attention from physical to our inner beauty. Of course looking good can help you to feel and be your best but what about things that people dont see like your sense of humour, or you intelligence, caring side?. Wouldnt a world in which we were judged for what we had to offer rather than the size of our thighs or our hair colour be a much happier place to live?
So ive come up with some things that i think to start feeling your inner beauty :):
Be confident - Confidence in yourself and what you have to offer is an good quality to have and in return if you love who you are so will other people.
Appreciate the good and the bad - We can so easily learn our good traits about ourselves but what about the bad? "imperfection is the truest form of beauty". Learn to love your good and bad they are what make you so unique.
Smile - Happiness is one of the key things to help with our moods so by smiling you help to share it with others.
Exercise - Releasing endorphins from exercising makes you feel great. So get those workouts going!
Sleep - By getting enough sleep we feel better and look better.
What do you think of my post? do you agree with what ive said? :)
Confidence is also a very attractive trait, as long as its confidence and not arrogance! We are our biggest critique but taking simple steps like that will definitely put us on the right track! Nice post :)

ReplyDeleteas someone who has hated my body for as long as i can remember, i know exactly how this feels, but i am trying to be more positive and change the way i see myself because being on a strict diet or whatever wont change the way you see yourself, it may even make you hate yourself even more because of the consequences of it
stay strong because youre all beautiful no matter what your size is
